![]() I’ve been thinking about the future a lot lately. A lot of what I have been reading in the last year or two has to do with this topic. I do think that we can be so focused on the future that we miss what God is doing in the present. With that said I’d like to share with you what I believe about my vision for the future when it comes to His church. For most of our history we have lived in a world we called Christendom, which indicated that we lived in a world where Christianity had a great influence on our culture, but now many believe that we live in a post-Christendom world. So, what does this mean for the church? What does it mean for the disciples who are living on mission? For one thing, I think it means that we must live courageously and to also live with a thriving mentality. I truly believe that this decade is very critical for the church, and thus, for Central as well. I believe that for the church to not just survive, but to thrive, then the disciples of Christ must live on witness. We will need to break free of our comfort zones and live out God’s VISION and not ours. Think about it. Pray about it. God bless. Comments are closed.
