What’s at your CORE? What is most important to you? What gives you purpose, meaning, even identity?
|
We all struggle with this question. It becomes even more confusing when culture, advertisements, social media, our friends at school, and countless other people all seem to think they know what should be most important to us. And all too often these are conflicting messages. Things that only fill us up temporarily or leave us simply begging for more or gasping for breath.
Here at Central Church of Christ we are diving into this question together.

We always start off the week together each Sunday as a family. We study the Bible, share about our weeks, ask for prayers, worship God, and hear what wisdom God has given our leaders. This helps us make sure we are keeping Christ at our CORE throughout the rest of the week.

As we come together on Wednesday nights to share a meal, hang out, play some games, spend time in worship, challenge each other to live more like Christ, look at what God says in the Bible, and experience God in numerous other ways, we are growing together as a family that has Christ at our CORE.
But that’s not all! Our Fall retreat, Summer Mission Trips, parties, Bible studies, and so many other hang outs throughout the year all lead us back to a common theme that we all share. Christ is at our CORE!

So, come and visit our family here at Central! We love meeting new people! We invite you to join us in making Paul’s prayer to the Ephesians personal to you:
“I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” All so that we can understand “how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ”!
