Our Mission
Central Church of Christ exists to equip, empower and encourage everyone to do God’s will, which includes loving and presenting the indescribable gift of Jesus Christ to the world.
WORSHIP
Our purpose as a Church is to introduce the world to the Lord Jesus Christ, the savior of the world, and share the message of the grace he pours out on us. Join us every Sunday and Wednesday for a time of congregational worship through song, prayer, reflection, and learning.

MINISTRY
Central is a congregation that believes and follows the example of Jesus Christ. We seek to be his light in the world through works of service to others. Join us in serving Jesus by ministering to those in and around Lufkin.

YOUTH INVOLVEMENT
Central provides an amazing opportunity and a unique challenge to local youth of Lufkin. We are thoroughly committed to creating environments in which students can become disciples of Christ. Our desire is for our youth to feel supported, envisioned, and equipped to live passionately for Jesus.

BIBLICAL EDUCATION
We seek to constantly expand our knowledge of God’s word and his purpose for our lives. Our classes help us to learn the scriptures and apply the lessons from the Bible to every day life.

Our desire is to provide a place where people can grow in their faith and develop meaningful relationships with others. We are here to assist people in their personal and spiritual growth by helping them to discover who God created them to be and what He has called them to do. We consider it a privilege to communicate love to everyone, not just those who are members of our church, but also to those who are currently outside our fellowship. We have dedicated ourselves to doing this by responding compassionately to the needs of people in the city of Lufkin and beyond. |
